Type 2

Type 2 is the most common form of diabetes. It is a problem with your body that causes blood glucose or sugar levels to rise higher than normal. There is not enough insulin to move the
sugar into your cells where the glucose is used for energy.

  • Fatigue
  • Lack of energy
  • Weight loss
  • Frequent urination
  • Excessive thirst
  • Dry mouth
  • Blurry vision
  • Itchy skin

If your sugar levels have been high than normal for a long time the symptoms are:

  • Yeast infections
  • Foot pain
  • Dark patches on your skin
  • Slow-healing cuts or sores
  • Feelings of numbness in your extremities

Treatment for type 2

  • Include foods rich in fiber and healthy carbohydrates in your diet.
  • Eating vegetables, fruits, and whole grains will help keep your blood sugar levels normal.
  • Eat at regular intervals and eat until you’re full.
  • Control your weight and keep your heart healthy.
  • Exercise helps to control blood glucose.
